I have started a wishlist for some amazing design books! Not only are they great to look through but they add such a fun pop of color to a bookshelf or coffee table!

Happy Fall Yall!

Happy Fall Y'all!
Fall is right around the corner (according to the weather man- 4:05 a.m. on Friday morning)! I am in the mood to do a little fall decorating to really get in the spirit!

So far I have made a wreath for our door.

I bought the flowers, pumpkin, and berries at Hobby Lobby and made the sign from an old board out behind our shop. (I won't go in to detail on how I cut the board- I'll just say it involved no modern or electric tool and I wouldn't suggest trying it at home...)

But I'm not done with my fall decor! Take a look at some inspiration from all over the blogland....

Stone Inspiration

Ever need a little pick-me-up or words of encouragement to get you going? I found a project on Pinterest and knew it would be easy to do and something I would love to see everyday.
The best part about this project is that it was FREE!

The stones came from our last trip to the Little Missouri Falls. I'm not sure if I was supposed to leave with pockets full of rocks... but I did...
I found quotes and favorite Bible verses from all over Pinterest and wrote on the stones with a paint pen!
(I ran out of big rocks so this one wraps front and back!)
Then I placed them in a small wooden bowl that was part of a wedding gift. So simple! Could be a great gift for friends with quotes or just personalizing it with names or initials!

I have been admiring this lovely mirror for some time now! I mean... just look how gorgeous it is!

I would put mine right above our bed in our Master Bedroom. I have been tweaking that room a lot lately and hope to finish it enough to show you soon.

I absolutely love it! I keep praying it goes on sale (by a lot) or someone surprises me for my birthday or Christmas (which are both coming up!) Hint Hint!

Mirror Mirror on the Wall

I have been looking for inspiration to fill up a wall in my living room- and mirrors are perfect. They reflect light, give dimension, and you can easily find them anywhere (thrift stores, flea markets- all those good places). Our living room lacks a lot of natural light... we only have a set of french doors. So this solution will bounce the light around and make it feel brighter! Take a look at some of my inspiration:

I love the collected look. I don't want it to be matchy matchy at all! All different shapes, colors, sizes and patinas on the mirrors are what I am dreaming of!  Here is what I have so far....
So I have a long way to go! But it is fun to always have something in mind when I stop by thrift stores or flea markets. And there is normally quite a few to choose from so I can be picky and find the unique ones that I absolutely love!

Do you have any fun mirrors around your house? What do you think of the mirror walls?
